1100 × 1100 pallet (T11): dimensions, weight and specs

The 1100 × 1100 mm pallet (43.3 × 43.3 in) is the standard pallet of East Asia, usually called T11. It is one of the six footprints in ISO 6780, the standard pool pallet in Japan, and a national standard size in Korea and China. It is also the usual export alternative for Australian shippers, whose domestic pallet does not fit ISO containers well.

#What are the dimensions of a 1100 × 1100 pallet?

A 1100 × 1100 pallet is 1100 mm (43.3 in) square. Japan's JIS Z 0601 defines the T11 pool pallet as 1100 × 1100 × 144 mm (5.7 in tall). Other 1100 × 1100 pallets, especially plastic ones, come in a range of heights, commonly about 120 to 160 mm.

Much of the T11 pool in Japan and Korea is plastic. Wood T11 pallets are widely used for export and one-way shipments. You can draw a wood block T11 by starting from the 1200 × 1000 perimeter template and resizing it in the designer.

#How much does a 1100 × 1100 pallet weigh?

It depends heavily on material. Wood T11 pallets typically weigh roughly 15 to 30 kg depending on species, board thickness and moisture (estimate). Plastic T11 pallets vary by model from light nestable designs to heavy rackable ones. Take the figure from the maker's data sheet. See pallet weight.

#How much weight can a 1100 × 1100 pallet hold?

Summaries of JIS Z 0601 give a maximum load of 1 tonne (1,000 kg) for the T11 pool pallet. Makers of individual models publish their own static, dynamic and racking ratings, and racking is always the lowest. For custom wood designs, ask the manufacturer for a rating per support condition. #Fit in containers and trucks

Two 1100 × 1100 pallets take 2200 mm across, which fits inside the roughly 2350 mm inside width of a 20 ft or 40 ft ISO container. The table above shows container and trailer counts. In a 53 ft North American trailer, 1100 mm (43.3 in) square pallets fit two across with room to spare.
